What the F**K happened this week?

Dewey, catch me up!

I’m back for round 2. I’ll save you all the April Fools day jokes (except a few).

Here’s the cool stuff I’ve found this week:

One of my favorite accounts online recently. Lot of good health nuggets coming from this account.

Daniel dropped the limited release Little Guy dev kit this past week (I GOT ONE before they sold out).

This thing is pretty cool, it is like a tamagotchi but you get to wear it.

The dev kit allows you to create your own animations using his proprietary software he built.

Garry Tan was the meme of the week this week.

For context, a founder tagged Garry in a tweet where he claimed he was shot at in the middle of the night.

Why he tagged Garry is unknown but the SF world thought it was hilarious, because what was Garry going to do?

One really awesome use case for GPT 4o is generating app screen designs from a screenshot or text.

Not perfect and certainly not enterprise-ready but for you vibe coders out there (you know who you are), this is a gamechanger.

It’ll write all the code for you too if you ask it nicely 😎

These numbers are insane.

The staggered release of o3 and o4-mini before GPT-5 probably means small improvements for PR, likely due to their recent funding (just raised $40b) and to address competition from Gemini 2.5 Pro (which is now the leader in a lot of areas) and DeepSeek R2.

Then we’ll see an open source model as well.

Gumroad open sourced their entire application by converting from Ruby on Rails to Next.js this week. Huge move for the Vercel ecosystem.

Make something people want.

Actually a great list you should probably hang on your bedroom wall.

Apple takes a lot of flack for falling behind, but the systems are extremely complex and we know they’re playing the long game here (especially with Siri, Apple Intelligence and the user experience). They’ll come back!

Just a reminder that cuddling promotes longevity :)

But also,

And of course, here are some of my favorite April Fools day jokes.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks updates! :)

With love,
Dewey
